are filled with books about Madeira, Portugal main land and some

kitchen is equiped with:gasstove,oven, microwave, big fridge with deep
freezer , coffeemachine and kettle.Washing machine and dishwasher included in
the kitchen. The apartment has two bathrooms, one with shower, the other one
with a bath tube.Both
bedrooms are equiped with kingsize beds by 1,80m x 2,00m.

Calheta
is in the southwestern part of the island on the sunny southcoast
.One of the regions with the most driest climate of Madeira. The surrounding
landscape is ideal for levadawalking. 15 minutes driving distance up to
Paul da Serra, the green highlands with its naturepark of Rabacal... Since
last year Calheta has a lovely golden sandy beach with a harbour and several
restaurants and bars. |

In former times the inhabitants of Calheta lived from producing sugar cane honey and aguardente ,wine and banaplantations.When passing the village of Calheta you can still visit one of the 2 sugar cane factories working once a year ( April ).Only in the last few years there was noticed a development in the region of Arco da Calheta, Estreito und Estrela.Modern infrastructures were built - today you find all essential buildings just like farmacy, several bank institutes, a post office and of course a big hipermarket. You
can park you car in the garage down below the building.Take the elevator up to
the second floor and come in .......
