The two self catering apartments are in the Annex building of Hotel Quinta do Alto São João, ca. 350 m above sealevel and near to the nice village of  Ponta do Sol  in the south of Madeira. From your balcony you have splendid views over the green fields and the atlantic ocean.The  two apartments are furnished in an elegant modern  and comfortable style just like the hotel in ca. 50 m distance.

The living room is equiped with a comfortable Sofa ( sofabed), armchairs and a small table.Cable TV and direct dial telephone .

The bedroom with a large doublebed and privat bath incl.hairdryer.3rd and 4th person sleep comfortably on the sofabed in the livingroom.

Kitchen including : fridge, microwave, electro/gasstove with 2 cooking moduls.A small table and 4 chairs are available.If you prefer to have breakfast in the hotel, than you can choose from the daily breakfast buffet ( charged as an extra ). 

Both apartments have balconies with a view over the atlantic and are equiped with garden furniture.

All the facilities of the Hotel can be used . The restaurant,the heated outdoor pool , the sauna ( charged as an extra ) and the elegant library as well as all public areas. The service for hotel or apartments is the same, that means cleaning every day.The small road in front of the apartments is without any traffic,shopping in Ponta do Sol , in ca. 10 minutes driving distance.  Bigger supermarkets are in Ribeira Brava or Calheta, ca. 20 minutes driving distance. In the very small village of São João you will find a small minimarket for the most essential things.We suggest a car !Parking space is available !
