The Quinta das Colmeias property is ideal for one or two families.
Situated 5 minutes from Santo da Serra golf course, part of the PGA European Tour and 10 minutes from the sea and surrounded by mountains, it provides a fantastic starting point for many local activities like walking or horseriding.
Quinta das Colmeias is located 15 minutes from Madeira's only airport at Santa Cruz and 5 minutes from the village of Santo da Serra.
This secluded property has a swimming pool with ample gardens surrounded by beautiful mountain views.
Enjoy a great game of croquet on the front lawn
Santo da Serra is well known for its clear mountain air and for which reason has been considered a country retreat for many generations. A maid service is provided every four days. Quinta das Colmeias is managed by the owner and his family, who will be more than pleased to provide additional information on local restaurants, places to visit, car hire and general activities.

Equipment and prices

A large living room, with fireplace, where you can relax after a day exploring the island, there is plenty to keep you busy: watch some TV or listen to your favourite CD's, play some cards, read a book or just relax. The living area easily seats 10 as does the dinning room, which also has a fire place. Central heating is an added benefit during the winter months.
Equipped with all modern facilities, the recently refurbished kitchen has all you need to cook up a feast. With hobs, oven, microwave, fridge , freezer and of course a dishwasher. If you don't feel like cooking there are quite a few restaurants only 5 minutes drive from the house. A barbecue is also provided.
The main house has 4 large double rooms, two of which lead out to the covered varandah that runs along the length of the house. There is also a smaller room that can sleep two children. Cots are also available upon request.
On the first floor you will find two complete bathrooms that service the bedrooms on the ground floor a WC.
