Program
Details :
Day 1:
Arrival transfer from the airport to Residencial Amparo in Machico .
Day 2:
Drive to the Eastern Cape, from here you will go on a scenic hike. Overnight in
Machico
Day 3 :
Hike from Camacha to Santo da Serra and overnight in Santo da Serra.
Day 4: Hike
Santo da Serra to Ribeira Frio, here you will be picked up and driven to
Santana . Here you will stay 3 nights and from here you will hike to the Achada
do Teixeira summit to the Pico do Arieiro summit and walk the coastal path to
Sao Jorge .
Day 7:
Funchal
Day 8: Today
we head south to a completely different landscape . From Ribeira Brava , walk
the walk along the Levada Candelaria - and enjoy a day of rest ! You will remain
a total of 3 nights in Ribeira Brava.
Day 10: On
to the West! Destination: Jardim do Mar. Hike through the Rabaçal nature
reserve and visit the sugar cane factory in Calheta . Walk along the Levada
Nova in Prazeres to Amparo far into the West ... and then enjoy the beautiful
fishing village of Jardim do Mar!
Day 15 :
Return - Transfer to the airport
