Program Details:
Day 1:
Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Funchal.
Day 2 : Tour
Funchal and visit it´s colorful indoor market , the embroidery factory and go
do some wine tasting at the oldest Madeira wine cellar in a Franciscan
monastery . Next you head to Ribeira Brava and check-in at the hotel there.
Day 3 :
Today´s hike descends from the Tabua green valley to Ribeira Brava . Wonderful
views of the sea and of the coastal towns. Overnight in Ribeira Brava.
Day 4:
Drive to the Rabacal nature reserve, the Unesco World Heritage Site, with Laurel
trees and numerous waterfalls . Hike along the Levada do Risco to the 25 springs.
Drive back and overnight in Prazeres or Calheta .
Day 5 : Hike
along the Levada Nova Calheta, Prazeres . Overnight in Calheta .
Day 6 :
Hike along the Levada dos Prazeres to the sweet fruit growing area of Amparo.
Day 7: Leisure

Day 8:
Drive to the airport or request an additional week’s stay.
