Estalagem do Vale is located in the north of Madeira (Municipality of S. Vicente - Sitio das Feiteiras). It is nestled in a rural setting, and the hotel has emerged from the renovation and extension of an 18th century manor house with great historical value, all while maintaining the shape of the original house.
The hotel has 42 rooms, one of them with disabled facilities, bar, cellar, games room, library, Internet area, childrens playground, indoor / outdoor swimming pool, mini-golf, croquet lawn, bowling green, sauna, Turkish bath, gym and Jacuzzi. One of the inns main features is its surrounding green areas. It is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Madeira. From one of the hotels belvederes, you can appreciate the full splendour of the S. Vicente valley and the deep blue shimmer of the north Atlantic, with all its magic and connection to the enormous mountains. The sweeping horizons, magnificent southern exposure and surrounding scenery lend the area an unrivalled beauty and great sense of tranquillity.
The Vale forest is located in the area of "Laurissilva", which is a world heritage site due to the rare richness of its flora, from the Tertiary Age. Here, you can experience natures bounty through sounds, aromas and tastes.
