All year round you can watch dolphins and whales off the coast of Madeira. Near the coast the Atlantic has already a depth of 3000m which means a perfect habitat for a lot of different marine life as for example Ocean dolphins, bryde's whales, sperm whales, pilot whales, blue whales, minke whales, humpback whales, false killer whales, orcas, toothed whales, short-beaked common dolfins, striped dolfins, spotted dolfins, bottlenose dolfins and more.
From Funchal with the sailing catamaran "Magic Dolphin":
The modern sailing catamaran with a maximum of 28 passengers offers guests toilets, sun and shade courts and 2 trampoline nets for sunbathing. There are drinks and snacks at the bar and in the summer, a swim stop is taken on the way back, which is carried out under sail. Free snorkeling equipment is available.

The "Bonita da Madeira" is a faithful caravel, 23m long, 99tons heavy, equipped with 9 cabins, toilets, comfortable salon, minibar, kitchen and sunbathing areas. It can accomodate 50 guests.

From Funchal with the catamaran "Sea the Best", "Sea Nature" or Sea Pleasure":
Daily from 10:30h-13:30h and from 15:00h-18:00h:
The three catamarans "Sea the Best", "Sea Nature" and Sea Pleasure" are equipped with toilets, bar, sunbathing areas and shady seats. In addition to drinks and snacks, the boats also offer snorkeling equipment. If no animals are spotted during a trip, you will get a second ride for free.

From Funchal with the powerboat "Sea Safari":
The speedboat with the 500hp engine guarantees not only the absence of seasickness due to its stability, but also promises a lot of fun and a sighting success. If no animals are spotted during a trip, you will get a second ride, either on the speedboat or on the catamaran "Magic Dolphin" for free. On the rides you will get explanations about fauna and flora.
