Detailed discription: Horse riding on Madeira
With our horses we offer you a real riding experience and not a touristic mass treatment. The welfare of our horses is most important for us. Our very well maintained and educated horses and the good equipment guarantee a high customer satisfaction. On our rides we take care for the individual knowledge of the riders. An experienced rider will guide the tours and help with questions and problems.
The duration specified for the rides depends on the number of riders and the riding speed.
We offer you two different horse rides for every level:
Levada da Serra – Ride 1
A calm and relaxed horse ride along the Levada da Serra do Faial, through the Laurisilva Forest with superb views over Santo da Serra village, Ponta de São Lourenço, Deserted Islands and, sometimes, even Porto Santo. This trail ride can be enjoyed by riders of all levels of experience including beginners. For the more experienced riders trot and canter can be available.

Laurel forest trail - Ride 2
On this horseback ride you will discover the natural beauty of Madeira. You ride along levadas through the unique laurel forest and enjoy fantastic views of the east coast of the island.
